Why we love it? The serene, monochromatic scheme with a balanced mix of textures. The pop of the black frames on the art. And speaking of art, these are so perfectly placed.

McGrath II is an interior design firm founded by Suzanne and Lauren McGrath — a mother and daughter team. Suzanne is a former style editor for Martha Stewart Living and Lauren worked for Teen Vogue prior to forming their firm. They’ve been featured in too many magazines to list.

Why we love it? The thoughtfully curated mix of materials, patterns and textures. That single red and white pillow perfectly balances the room against the floral chair. And, of course, books.

Who is it?@tammyconnor A Birmingham and Charleston design firm that aims to create understated beauty and ease of living. Their work has been featured in Tradition Home, Veranda, House Beautiful and more.

Why we love it? The unique furniture layout. The greenery. The wreath around one of the pictures to give the wall balance and tie it into the room. That bureau that fits so perfectly in the recessed space.

J.Crew takes a casual approach to the boyfriend blazer. I like that it’s almost a mix of a blazer, a sweater and a car coat.
